Have you found a fix? It seems macro logic is breaking for some people and not others. I had weapon swap macros that were working until a few days ago. Was trying to figure out how to make macro worked for instances where you have same weapon in MH and OH and got it figured out. Replace weapons and shields with the ones you use. Bruh been looking for this everywhere across multiple sites with vague answers … This is simple and clean i love you.

Due to not having an interrupt in battle, you can end up with both penalties. However, this exceeded the character limit, so you need some creativity to consolidate it to fit into a macro, or utilize 2 macros and the bar switching.

This is an effective way to swap identical items with different enchants too, if you equip item:id:enchantID. So you can have two of the same boots and one has mithril spurs and the other greater agility.
I know I had to lengthen that macro due to having multiples of the same item for smf fury, forcing me to use equipslot. You can drop everything relating to [ focus] from classic macros, as Focus as a UnitID does not exist in Classic.

Auto Shot will be the majority of your damage while leveling, and Aimed Shot and Multi-Shot both scale off your weapon damage. Weapon upgrades are the most important upgrades to get while leveling, meaning it is extremely important to know where your next weapon is coming from. Hunter s know how to use their starting range and melee weapons when created, but they can also learn how to use many other weapon types from Weapon Masters around the world.
While there are many possible weapons in the journey fromthe list of the best and easiest upgrades to get will be below. If you are leveling a Hunter as an alt and have access to gold, consider looking at the Auction House to buy weapon upgrades as you level.
There lots of great weapons that can be purchased relatively cheaply fromwith the weapons getting slightly more expensive closer to Axes, both one-handed and two-handed, are acceptable weapons for Hunters. Generally Hunters prefer 2H weapons for the higher single hit damage, but 1H weapons are acceptable if they provide better stats.
Melee weapons really come down to what gives the best stats. Swords, both one-handed and two-handed, are acceptable weapons for Hunters. Staves are acceptable weapons for Hunters. Generally Hunters prefer 2H weapons for the higher single hit damage, so Staves are pefectly usable, if they have solid stats. Polearms are acceptable weapons for Hunters.

Generally you will want to use whatever ranged weapon has the highest DPS, but you should also heavily prioritize slower weapons. Crossbows really are not worth using until Level 60, mainly because there are no good low level crossbows. Bows are readily available at all stages of the game, and will be your most used weapon while leveling.
Guns are not as common while leveling, but can be used.
Hunters can technically use thrown weapons, but you should never use them. They are worse in every way than ranged weapons. Since ranged weapons are the most important thing for Hunters, they are the only weapon upgrades that will be listed below. Hunters have several end-game weapons at their disposal. Depending on what you are looking for, there are many different sources of weapon upgrades, but you will mostly find them inside dungeons and raids, with the occasional quest reward.
The best of the weapons can be found listed below. However, they are without question the hardest items in the game to obtain, requiring months of dedicated play to be able to acquire them. Very few people will every be able to earn these weapons, so do not focus too much on them as they are out of reach for the vast majority of players.
Luckily for Hunters though, the ranged PvP weapons are actually worse than the available raid ranged weapons due to having too fast of an attack speed. For the melee weapons however, some of the best alternatives are listed below. You can check the complete list for each type of Hunter weapon at itemization. This guide has been written by Impakt.Nefarian is located atop Blackwing Lair after Chromaggus. Nefarian is an extremely difficult encounter as it requires a full man raid to win along with strong coordination and leadership. On average, the full encounter consists of 3 stages and takes about 20—30 minutes to finish. To activate the Encounter a person must walk up to Nefarian's throne and talk through what he says. Upon completion of this he says "Let the Games begin. The room begins to flood with drakonids at the same time.
There are 6 types of drakonids that spawn. In every Nefarian encounter you will fight Chromatic Drakonids ; the largest and toughest drakonids. Fortunately they spawn in far fewer number than the other colors. In addition to the Chromatic Drakonid, 2 other random colors of drakonids will spawn as well. One color will spawn from the southern door, and one color will spawn from the northern door.
Colors are fixed for each instance: if Nefarian is attempted multiple times before the instance resets, the same color combinations will appear.
Different colors of drakonids have different special abilities and are resistant to different schools of magic. Note that, unlike some other Blackwing Lair mobs, these drakonids are not particularly vulnerable to any magic.
The Drakonids can be killed by either AoE attacks or direct damage and aside from Chromatics, they do not hit very hard and do not have a lot of health. Raid is split up into groups so that DPS is split up as evenly as possible. At least 2 to 3 tanks need to be designated per side to be able handle Chromatic Drakonids.
Taunt moves should be enough to hold mobs, but any that leak should be the primary target, followed by a designated assist target. Ranged DPS classes Mage, Warlock, Hunter and healers should be positioned max range from either door so that they can switch sides quickly.
Hunters can be moved between sides to tweak the DPS balance. Hard, steady DPS is crucial so if one side is waiting for spawns, people need to switch over; the non-chromatic drakonids shouldn't live past taunt duration while chromatics have significantly more health and need to be "sunder" tanked.I have tried macros that script but that bugs out and you end up with greyed out weapons and have to relog.
I think the biggest issue is the global cooldown that swapping a weapon causes. Does anyone know how I can do this with as little ease as possible, I want to swap weapons mid fight using as few macros and keys as possible.
Sadly itemrack cannot swap any items even weapons incombat due to API restrictions. That would equip the 2nd item in the first bag in your offhand - ofc if your using some sort of unified bag mod your out of luck. Referring to bag slots is what i had to use on pservers. You sure about that? A mage. I tried working around it, but settled for spamming it instead. Using macros that refer to bag number, bag slot number will have the best use for him afaik.
